next call from michigan, go ahead. >> caller: i published a newspaper, we've been publishing the "michigan bulletin" for 17 years here, and my dad is one of those people who i remember as a kid went down south, and he would bring people up on the car. on changeover, drove down, picked up the guys out of alabama, and they are still here in the community, and they are like me, their kids are first generation from the south, and their kids' kids now are here. i appreciate you hying -- highlighted that. we didn't talk about it, but we did it. the other part is we have third generation now at dispute, fighting each other. they don't know each other, don't know the roots of the families that were connected in the south, and i'm wondering, what do we do? ship them south because there's limited opportunity here, education has been decreasing, and the opportunity for work like detroit are terrible, or do we stick it out? stay, redo the institutions, restack the churches, come out with our own measures and demands on community to make the adjustments for us and fight for our place in the sun here or
